1. Press ON/OFF

2. Dial * 5 and press ON/OFF again it will stop.

Welcome to the second installment of a weekly email from the tech support help desk.Last week we learned how-to make MS Word save Autorecovery files in in the background every 5 minutes. This tip allows you to change where that AutoRecovery temporary file is saved. The helpdesk recommends making a "Word Autorecovery" folder in you’re my Documents to save these files for easy access and server back-ups.

Change how often you want Word to save documents automatically

Fellow LG and LFS Associates, This is the first installment of a weekly email from the tech support help desk. Every week you will receive a tip, trick, and simple how-to on some of MS Office's more obscure features. This week's TECH TIP is regarding Microsoft Word 2000. Did you know that Word can save the document you are working in automatically in the background? As the rhetorical question implies, you can! In fact, Word has several ways to save in the background. This tip allows you to change how often an AutoRecover temporary file is saved. We recommend setting the AutoRecover frequency to about 5 minutes.
